McDermott Will & Schulte advised Main Capital Partners in connection with the strategic acquisition of Timegrip by Main-backed BCS HR Software.

The merger creates a pan-European platform for HCM and payroll software. The transaction marks the third strategic merger that Main Capital Partners has facilitated in recent weeks.

Headquartered in the Netherlands, BCS is a provider of HR and payroll software, serving more than 3,600 customers with a strong footprint across the Benelux region. Main Capital has been a strategic partner to BCS since 2022.

Denmark-based Timegrip develops and provides workforce management and HR cost control software to more than 1,100 customers in over 30 countries, with leading market positions in Denmark, Norway and Germany.

The McDermott team advising Main Capital Partners on German law aspects of the transaction was led by Hanno M. Witt, and included Manuel Weiß, Florian Schiefer, and Marcus Fischer.

In 2025, the McDermott team had already advised Main Capital and Timegrip on the acquisition of Software4You.
