Lowell Yoder wrote this bylined article describing how the definitions of Subpart F services and sales income differ. Because a unique Subpart F rule requires that certain types of services income derived in connection with purchasing or selling products be analyzed as sales income, Mr. Yoder provided guidance on this classification.
