Cathy Ren advises hospitals, health systems, physician groups, and other healthcare providers and suppliers on a wide range of transactional, regulatory and corporate governance matters.

Cathy focuses her transactional work on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, strategic affiliations, joint ventures and other complex business transactions. She is experienced in managing due diligence review, negotiating definitive documents, and resolving healthcare regulatory issues that arise in such transactions.

Cathy also counsels clients on complex regulatory issues including federal and state fraud and abuse laws, corporate practice of medicine restrictions, and billing and reimbursement issues. She assists clients with internal and external investigations into alleged noncompliance with healthcare laws and regulations, and advises on solutions and best practices.
