Overview
Rebecca Reese litigates complex commercial disputes before state and federal courts and provides legal counsel in white-collar criminal defense, government investigations, and enforcement proceedings, particularly for healthcare industry clients. She is experienced in all phases of litigation, including case assessment, fact and expert discovery, legal research, motion practice, trial preparation, trial, and appeals. Rebecca also maintains an active pro bono practice with a focus on representing defendants in federal criminal matters, appeals, and in habeas proceedings.
Rebecca also has experience representing debtors and creditor groups in both in- and out-of-court restructurings and other matters, including hearings before the Southern District of Texas bankruptcy court.
During law school, Rebecca was a lead articles editor for the Washington and Lee Law Review.
