Dr. Monika Richter advises domestic and international biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical technology companies on strategic transactions, licensing and collaboration projects, as well as all commercial matters.

She supports clients throughout the entire life cycle of innovative products and technologies, from financing and the acquisition of intellectual property rights to research and development collaborations and commercialization.

A particular focus of her practice is the structuring, negotiation and implementation of complex licensing and collaboration transactions. She advises both licensors and licensees at all stages of a transaction, including due diligence, transaction structuring, and bidding and auction processes. In addition, she advises on M&A transactions, joint ventures, strategic partnerships, as well as royalty financing and royalty monetization transactions.

Drawing on her extensive industry knowledge, she combines legal excellence with a deep understanding of the scientific, commercial and strategic challenges faced by her clients.
