McDermott Will & Schulte has advised Investcorp and NetRom Software on the financing of the launch of a software platform with the Trivium eSolutions Group.
In 2023, Investcorp became a majority shareholder in NetRom Software, and in June 2026, it became the lead investor in Trivium. Through its technology investment arm, Investcorp Technology Partners (“ITP”), Investcorp is now combining NetRom and Trivium eSolutions into a growth platform for software development.
Investcorp is a global investment manager with approximately $62 billion in assets under management that specializes in private equity, credit investments, and real assets.
NetRom, a Dutch-Romanian IT services company based in Utrecht, offers cloud services, nearshoring, and software development and consulting.
Trivium eSolutions is a German software consulting and development company specializing in industrial AI, with development centers in Germany, the Netherlands, and India.
The McDermott team was led by Ludwig Zesch and included Bastiaan Wolters and transaction lawyer Konstantin Strobel.
