McDermott Will & Schulte, a global law firm

McDermott Will & Schulte advised the pool of lenders—Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A., Banco BPM S.p.A., and BPER Banca S.p.A.—on a financing of approximately €250 million granted to the REAIF “Odissea” managed by Coima SGR S.p.A..

The transaction is part of a broader initiative to regenerate Milan’s historic centre refurbishing historic building in order to match the highest environmental sustainability standards. The properties involved are distinguished by their architectural and cultural significance, as well as their innovative technical features and energy efficiency.

Specifically, the financing will support the fund’s development of the complex located in via Monte di Pietà and via privata Fratelli Gabba in Milan’s Brera district, as well as the completion of redevelopment works on properties located in via Pellico and piazzale Fratelli Zavattari.
