HR NEWS Webinar Series – Always Up to Date in Labor Law

Overview

The new edition of our HR News event series is dedicated to the topic of “Remuneration of works councils – what does the BGH ruling mean? Starting point of the whole thing: On 10 January 2023, the Federal Supreme Court (BGH) overturned the first-instance acquittals of four former VW managers on charges of breach of trust. The written reasons for the judgement were eagerly awaited. Now it is available.

The judgement has considerable practical consequences! Not least because the BGH has greatly increased the risks for wilful breach of trust in the remuneration of works councils.

In terms of labour law, the decision also gives many pointers to open questions. With the help of our online event, we have ventured a classification – what has now been clarified, what is open and where do we go from here?
