McDermott are delighted to sponsor EIT Health’s Catapult Awards. The awards recognize top European healthcare start-ups with great investment potential, and seek to help connect start ups with investors in biotech, med-tech and digital health.
Every year the Catapult programme sources and accelerates 42 European start-ups by delivering high-quality, bespoke training in business modelling and planning, investment deal negotiation and specialized pitch preparation while giving access to Europe’s top healthcare experts and investors.
Catapult start-ups become part of the EIT Health Community of world leading medtech, biotech, pharma and IT companies and international class research organizations in healthcare.
McDermott will give three prizes:
- McDermott 2021 Catapult prize for Most Promising Biotech
- McDermott 2021 Catapult prize for Most Promising Medtech
- McDermott 2021 Catapult prize for Most Promising Digital Health
Our McDermott speakers will also be in attendance at the event; Byron Kalogerou and Anisa Mohanty will deliver a session on “Legal advice and strategies for successfully entering the US market, including an overview of the FDA regulatory scheme and reimbursement” and Anthony Paronneau and Jana Grieb will give a keynote speech on “Software as a medical device – what has changed in EU and Member States’ law?”
