Schulte Roth & Zabel partner Melissa Goldstein recently spoke to Richard Vanderford from The Wall Street Journal Risk & Compliance Journal regarding the government’s focus on regulating fintech companies.

According to Melissa, government regulators have put a high priority on looking into fintech companies, which in many cases do not fall under the direct oversight of banking regulators.

“The federal banking regulators are wrestling with how best to regulate,” she said.
