Daniel J. Bell and James H. Cundiff were speakers on the webinar “Corporate Transparency Act: Overview of New Reporting Requirement” hosted by the Chicago Estate Planning Council on Thursday, December 14, 2023. Daniel and James discussed the Corporate Transparency Act and the beneficial ownership reporting rules that require compliance with certain disclosure rules. Their presentation covered the rules and applied them to practical examples involving structures family offices use. They also discussed what family office clients are doing as well and provided an update on the most recent guidance that has been issued that impacts reporting considerations.
