March 10, 2026 — International law firm McDermott Will & Schulte has been named the winner of the Litigation Technology and Innovation category at the Legalweek Leaders in Tech Law Awards for its Federal District Court Case Hub, highlighting the firm’s continued commitment to innovative, technology-driven initiatives that enhance client service and legal delivery.

McDermott’s Federal District Court Case Hub is a lawyer-designed dashboard offering a unified view of nearly 1,800 federal district court cases handled by McDermott litigators since 2016, spanning 24 data fields and integrated Lex Machina analytics. Developed in close collaboration with litigators, the Hub addresses common research needs by enabling instant access to critical litigation intelligence and supporting faster, more informed strategy decisions.

The firm was additionally shortlisted for:

    • Innovations in Knowledge Management: The Arbitrators & Mediators Data Hub is a centralized, searchable repository that consolidates key information on more than 400 arbitrators and mediators referred by or to McDermott lawyers. Built through a multi-stage, technology-assisted KM workflow, it streamlines research and decision-making by providing comprehensive individual profiles, including roles, affiliations, public links, and referring lawyer contacts.
    • Best Use of Emerging Technology (Non-AI): McDermott implemented Omni, an emerging business intelligence platform, to modernize how the firm accesses, visualizes, and governs enterprise-wide data through flexible, visually engaging dashboards.
