Soo Young Hong advises private fund clients on the structuring, formation and operation of investment funds and has represented both domestic and international fund sponsors in the organization of private equity funds, credit funds, buyout funds and fund of funds. She drafts, revises and updates fund documentation, including subscription agreements, offering memoranda, side letters, investment management agreements, limited partnership agreements, administration agreements, operating agreements and various ancillary agreements.
While earning her law degree, Soo Young participated in the Sonia & Celina Sotomayor Judicial Internship Program under the Honorable Analisa Torres of the US District Court for the Southern District of New York. Dr. Laura Katharina Woll

Der Tätigkeitsschwerpunkt von Dr. Laura Katharina Woll liegt in den Bereichen Intellectual Property und Dispute Resolution. Als UPC Representative spezialisiert sie sich auf Beratung zu allen Fragen des UPC-Rechts und Prozessführung vor dem Einheitlichen Patentgericht. Sie berät auch zu standardessentiellen Patenten (SEPs) und FRAND-Verteidigungen. Zu ihren weiteren Tätigkeitsbereichen gehören die Gestaltung von IP-Lizenzvereinbarungen in allen Bereichen des gewerblichen Rechtsschutzes sowie markenrechtliche Fragen und Domainstreitigkeiten.
Im Rahmen von Due-Diligence-Projekten unterstützt sie außerdem Mandanten bei der umfassenden Prüfung und Bewertung von IP-Portfolios – von der Analyse des Schutzrechtsbestands über die Identifikation von Verletzungs- und Nichtigkeitsrisiken bis hin zur Bewertung bestehender Lizenzstrukturen und Freedom-to-Operate-Fragen.
Ihre Mandanten kommen aus verschiedenen Branchen wie Automotive, Pharma, Medizinprodukte, Chemie, Elektrotechnik und Maschinenbau.
Vor ihrer Tätigkeit als Rechtsanwältin konnte Frau Woll bereits bei McDermott als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin in der Abteilung für Dispute Resolution wertvolle Praxiserfahrung sammeln.
