Scott Kenkel focuses his practice on employee benefits and executive compensation matters. He has experience assisting clients with regulatory compliance matters related to tax-qualified retirement plans and executive compensation arrangements. He also regularly works with clients on benefits and compensation issues in connection with corporate transactions.

While in law school, Scott served as an intern for the University of Chicago Housing Initiative Transactional Clinic, which provides legal representation to support affordable housing development.

Isabella Forero focuses her practice on corporate advisory and transactional matters.

While earning her law degree, Isabella worked as a student lawyer for the Yale Entrepreneurship & Innovation Clinic, a first-year editor for the Yale Journal of Law & Feminism and earned Yale’s Clifford L. Porter Prize for outstanding scholarship in the field of taxation.

Nicole Waitzman focuses her practice on corporate advisory and transactional matters.

While in law school, Nicole served as a teaching assistant for Torts and Business Associations, worked as a notes and comments editor for the Emory Law Journal and was a legal intern for a manufacturing company.

Jacob (Jake) Michael Bass advises on all aspects of intellectual property law and has represented numerous clients involved in disputes relating to pharmaceuticals. He has experience with a wide range of medical devices and pharmaceuticals technologies that treat diabetes, cardiovascular disorders, cosmetic ailments, reproductive issues and dementia. Jake has also concentrated on products that treat gastrointestinal disorders and cancer.

Jake works closely with companies seeking to protect their hard-earned reputations. To that end, he has represented companies in patent, trademark, and copyright litigations in federal district courts and in investigations before the International Trade Commission (ITC). In addition, he has represented clients in cases related to trade secret misappropriation, false advertising, unfair competition and antitrust claims. Outside of the life sciences, Jake has advised clients across various industries, including consumer electronics, manufacturing, apparel, broadcast media, automation and construction.

While in law school, Jake was the Managing Editor for Boston College’s Journal of Law and Social Justice.
