Der Tätigkeitsschwerpunkt von Julian Rößler-Weis liegt im Bereich Kartellrecht.

Julian Rößler-Weis studierte Rechtswissenschaften an der Universität Münster, der Universidad Carlos III de Madrid und dem Trinity College Dublin. Parallel absolvierte er eine „Fachspezifische Fremdsprachenausbildung“ (FFA) zum „Common Law“. Vor seiner Anstellung als Rechtsanwalt arbeitete er als Assessor bei McDermott. Zudem sammelte Julian Rößler-Weis praktische Erfahrungen unter anderem als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter im Bereich Dispute Resolution.

Im Rahmen seines Referendariats beim Landgericht Düsseldorf durchlief Julian Rößler-Weis seine Wahlstation bei der Bayer AG, seine Anwaltsstation bei einer internationalen renommierten Anwaltskanzlei und seine Verwaltungsstation beim Ministerium des Innern des Landes NRW.

Elizabeth Amanieh focuses her practice on corporate advisory and transactional matters.

Nicole Wittstein focuses her practice on litigation in the US Supreme Court, federal circuit courts and state appellate courts around the country. She also litigates major motions at the trial level.

Prior to joining McDermott, Nicole served as a law clerk to the Hon. Timothy J. Kelly of the US District Court for the District of Columbia and the Hon. Albert Diaz of the US Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. During law school, Nicole was a member of the Wrongful Convictions Clinic and was an executive editor of the Duke Law Journal.

Laura-May focuses her practice on structured finance and is a member of the Firm’s ESG, Impact and Sustainability group.

She has experience in cross-border social impact finance structures, including social and development impact bonds. Laura-May was recently seconded to the legal team of one of our key social impact finance clients.

She also assists corporate trust clients with new deals and post-closing matters across high yields, securitisations and MTN programmes as well as with general banking deals.

• Acted for the British Asian Trust, in relation to a development impact bond which aims to increase paid-employment in India, particularly amongst women, through large scale upskilling

Adam Abbott is an associate in the London Finance, Restructuring and Special Situations Group and focuses his practice on leveraged finance and financial restructuring transactions advising corporate borrowers and issuers, private equity firms and other institutional investors. His experience includes advising clients on the refinancing of existing indebtedness, acquisition financing, financing of portfolio companies and restructuring transactions.
