Frankfurt, June 4, 2025 – McDermott Will & Emery has advised the German Schoeller Group on the acquisition of the Upper West high-rise building in Berlin. Schoeller emerged as the highest bidder in an international tender process.
The transaction is one of the largest single transactions in the office real estate market in recent years.
With a height of 120 meters and 33 floors, Upper West is one of the most striking landmarks in Berlin’s City West district. The approximately 55,000 square meter premium commercial property, located in the immediate vicinity of the Gedächtniskirche, comprises modern office space, a hotel, and retail and restaurant units.
