Samantha Pearsall

Samantha Pearsall focuses her practice on a broad range of transactional and regulatory matters that impact the healthcare industry.

Samantha represents hospitals, health systems, physician practices, and private equity firms and their portfolio companies in various healthcare transactions, including buy- and sell-side mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic affiliations. She has experience in the physician practice management space, with a particular focus on dermatology, behavioral health, and home health providers, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology businesses. She also advises on ambulatory surgery center matters, including acquisitions, de novo development, and the physician syndication process.

Samantha’s regulatory practice includes counseling clients on state licensure and information filings, change of ownership filings, Medicare and Medicaid enrollment matters, and healthcare transaction notice filings across multiple jurisdictions.

While earning her law degree, Samantha was a legal intern at the Beth Israel Lahey Health Office of the General Counsel and a student extern in the Family Law Unit at Greater Boston Legal Services. She also was an intellectual property legal assistant at a private law firm, working primarily with clients in the healthcare space.
