Marie delivers comprehensive research analysis and statistical reports to present data-driven recommendations on healthcare trends, health policies, and information databases.
Her work focuses on a multidisciplinary review of physician payment, quality and coding activities. She is deeply engaged in activities related to the development of CPT® code applications; the valuation of physician services through the American Medical Association RVS Update Committee (RUC) process; and the review and analysis of regulations and policies related to Medicare physician and other provider payments.
Marie has a strong background in cancer research and policy. Marie joined McDermott+ from the only NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center in Washington, D.C. In this role, she provided critical support on tobacco regulatory policies; cancer screening trends in rural and minority communities; and reducing barriers to care.
