John is also a certified public accountant. Prior to graduating from law school, he worked in the financial reporting group of a major international food and beverage company and as an auditor for a public accounting firm.

• Advised the sponsors on a S$1.5 billion refinancing of a multi-purpose sports stadium in Singapore*
• Advised the lenders (including a multilateral development bank) on the project financing of a portfolio of more than 2,000 telecom towers across Myanmar*
• Advised a sponsor consortium on their bid to Malaysia HSR Corporation and Singapore HSR to develop the Kuala Lumpur-Singapore High Speed Rail PPP Project*
• Advised the sponsors on the joint venture arrangements and financing of a coffee plant in Vietnam with support from a Danish export credit agency*

Oil & Gas

• Advised the state-owned Malaysian and Thai sponsors on the refinancing of an onshore and offshore gas pipeline project located in the Malaysia-Thailand Joint Development Area*

Corporate Finance

• Advised the lenders on a pre-IPO bridge financing to a subsidiary of an Indonesian state-owned oil and gas company*
• Advised the lender on a financing to a listed Indonesian energy company for financing the acquisition of geothermal assets in Indonesia and the Philippines*
• Advised a multilateral development bank in Latin America as borrower in relation to a revolving line of credit facility provided by an Asian export credit agency for the purpose of facilitating exports to Latin America*
• Advised a multilateral development bank on a financing to a microfinance institution in Cambodia*
