McDermott Will & Schulte assisted Ranova S.r.l., a company affiliated with Fincontinuo S.p.A., which is in turn controlled by the international fund JZ International, in finalizing the acquisition of a majority stake in Fidemoney S.r.l., a company with well-established experience in the market for secured personal loans, with a particular focus on salary-backed loans (so-called “cessione del quinto”) for employees and pensioners, as well as mortgages and personal loans.

The buyer was assisted on legal matters by McDermott Will & Schulte, with a team composed of Partners Ettore Scandale and Oscar Arcà and Associate Gian Luca Marchi. As for financial and tax matters, the company was assisted by Thera Capital, with a team composed of Partner Federico Dario, Supervisor Marco Minozzi, and Consultants Luca Bonan and Pietro Buset.
