Frankfurt, May 16, 2023 – Private equity investor Cinven has completed the acquisition of MBCC Admixtures, the concrete admixtures business of MBCC Group, from Sika AG. McDermott Will & Emery acted as advisor to the new management of MBCC Admixtures.
MBCC Admixtures is headquartered in Mannheim, Germany, and employs more than 1,600 people at 35 manufacturing facilities worldwide. The company specializes in chemicals for concrete production and civil engineering.
Sika AG is a specialty chemicals company with subsidiaries in 101 countries around the world. Its more than 27,500 employees generated annual sales of CHF 10.49 billion in 2022.
The McDermott team was led by partner Dr. Michael Cziesla together with partner Dr. Felix Ganzer and counsel Dr. Christian Marzlin.
