Joshua (Josh) Jacobs focuses his practice on corporate finance.

While in law school, Josh served as a judicial intern for the Hon. Kristine Van Vorst of the Eighth Judicial Circuit of Florida, worked for the State Attorney’s Office for the Eighth Judicial Circuit, and served as a legal intern for a national physicians association. He also was executive student works editor for the Journal of Technology Law & Policy.

Dr. Thomas Hintzen berät Mandanten zu allen Fragen des öffentlichen Rechts, einschließlich des Verfassungs-, Verwaltungs- und Regulierungsrechts. Sein Tätigkeitsschwerpunkt liegt dabei im Bau- und Umweltrecht, zum Beispiel im Rahmen von komplexen Immobilientransaktionen und Projektentwicklungen. Darüber hinaus ist er spezialisiert auf außenwirtschaftsrechtliche Fragestellungen, insbesondere im Zusammenhang mit FDI-Verfahren sowie Exportkontroll- und Sanktionsthemen.

Vor seiner Anstellung als Rechtsanwalt bei McDermott war Thomas Hintzen Doktorand am Institut für Öffentliches Wirtschaftsrecht der Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel. Sein Referendariat absolvierte Thomas Hintzen beim Landgericht Düsseldorf mit Stationen bei der Deutschen Botschaft in Hanoi und einer international renommierten Großkanzlei im Bereich öffentliches Wirtschaftsrecht.

Christian Tatum focuses his practice on intellectual property matters, including patent litigation and post-grant proceedings. He has worked with clients in a variety of technology sectors, including energy generation, aerospace, and semiconductor.

Prior to rejoining the firm, Christian served as a law clerk to Chief Judge Rodney Gilstrap in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, during which time he participated in eight civil jury trials and a bench trial, as well as numerous pre-trial conferences and Markman hearings. In law school, Christian was a James Kent Scholar, Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, Hamilton Fellow, and articles editor for the Columbia Science and Technology Law Review. He has a strong technical background, having earned bachelor’s degrees in physics and astronomy.
