Russell Hayman told a Delaware jury that a $600 million antitrust claim against headset maker Plantronics by competitor GN Netcom was “laughable” and “baloney,” and suggested the jury should only need “five minutes of deliberations” to reject the claim. “Where is the end user who couldn’t find a GN headset?” Mr. Hayman asked regarding the plaintiff’s claims of market restriction. Jon Dean,Rita Yoon and Sarah Walters are also McDermott counsel for Plantronics.
