On April 27, 2016, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) proposed to implement the Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) and Alternative Payment Models (APMs) required by the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA) of 2015. These reforms will profoundly change how, and how much, Medicare pays physicians for services furnished to program beneficiaries by substantially linking such payments to performance and incentivizing physicians to participate in alternative payment models.

Please join us for a complimentary webcast, MACRA: Building a Winning Strategy, where experienced attorneys and consultants will highlight key takeaways from the proposed rule and focus on planning and preparing your organization to succeed in this new environment. Topics to be discussed include:

  • The strategic implications for you organization;
  • How MACRA will reshape the physician services market and what your organization will need to do to implement a winning strategy for its physician network; and
  • Understanding the difficult choices physicians will face under MACRA.

This webcast is part of McDermott Will & Emery’s Managing the Transition to Transformation series. This series is designed to help health systems and other health care industry leaders address the many challenges presented by the transformation in payment and care delivery models.
