Russell Hayman, representing headset maker Plantronics Inc. in opening arguments of a Delaware antitrust suit by competitor Jabra/GN Netcom, said the plaintiff is using a “litigation strategy” as a “business strategy” to compensate in a market where Plantronics had a “40-year head start.” “GN is trying to earn in the courtroom what it hasn’t been able to earn in the marketplace,” Mr. Hayman told jurors.
