US firms score roles on the $69bn CVS Health Aetna merger

McDermott was one of three global law firms to advise drugstore chain operator CVS Health Corp. on its $69 billion cash and stock purchase of insurer Aetna Inc. The transaction,one of this year’s largest M&A deals, is expected to transform the US healthcare sector.
