Pro Bono Matters: Partnering for Pro Bono

Andrew Roberson was co-author of this bylined article on a new ABA Section of Taxation initiative to match law firms with low-income taxpayer clinics (LITCs) in need of help. The idea for the initiative grew out of a 2015 presentation by Mr. Roberson to the Access to Justice panel of the Tax Court Judicial Conference, in which he discussed how McDermott had assisted low-income individuals and LITCs throughout the country and how there were similar opportunities for other law firms.
