Crossing the Pond – Using a “Flip” for Financial and Strategic Benefit

Albert Sokol co-authored this paper presented in Paris at the May 2017 BioEquity Conference. Mr. Sokol described a cross border “flip” of a corporate structure for a non-US company, in which a new US company acts as the parent company of an existing operation. He noted that in the right situations, such a move can generate strategic and financial benefits for a company group, without fundamentally changing corporate operations.
