Überblick
Connor Suozzo is a member of the firm’s Supreme Court & Appellate Litigation and Government & Regulatory Litigation Practice Groups. He focuses on high-stakes appellate matters and has authored dozens of briefs in federal and state courts of appeal. At the trial-court level, he litigates dispositive motions, with a particular emphasis on challenges brought under the Administrative Procedure Act (APA). Connor’s experience covers a broad range of substantive areas, including constitutional, administrative, patent, tax, and healthcare litigation. In his pro bono practice, Connor has won appeals involving First Amendment claims, qualified immunity, and habeas corpus.
Prior to joining McDermott Will & Schulte, Connor worked as a law clerk to the Honorable Raymond Gruender in the US Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. During law school, he was a member of the Georgetown Appellate Litigation Clinic, an executive board member of the moot court team, and an editor of the Georgetown Journal of Law & Public Policy.

- Won dismissal for lack of personal jurisdiction of an employment-discrimination claim brought against an international technology company (Eastern District of North Carolina)*
- Obtained a preliminary injunction blocking enforcement of an immigration policy detrimental to asylum seekers (District of Columbia)*
