Laura Katharina Woll focuses her practice on intellectual property and dispute resolution, working for German and international clients. As UPC Representative, she specializes in litigating before the Unified Patent Court. She also advises on standard-essential patents (SEPs) and FRAND defenses. Other areas of her practice include drafting and negotiation of business agreements such as IP licensing agreements as well as trade mark law issues and domain disputes.
Her clients represent a wide variety of industries such as automotive, pharmaceutical, medical devices, chemicals and engineering.
Laura advised:
- A large US company in nine revocation proceedings before the Unified Patent Court, including the UPC Court of Appeal.
- A German family-owned company extensively on IP strategy and trademark and design enforcement, including coordination with global enforcement (particularly in the U.S., Europe, and China) and in several domain disputes before the WIPO under the UDRP dispute resolution policy.
- A large Spanish company on patent infringement issues.
