CVS Inks $77 Billion Deal for Aetna

McDermott corporate, health, benefit, IP and tax lawyers were among attorneys from three global law firms to advise drugstore chain operator CVS Health Corp. on its $69 billion cash and stock purchase ($77 billion with debt assumption) of insurer Aetna Inc. The transaction,one of this year’s largest M&A deals, is expected to transform the US healthcare sector.
