M. Miller Baker, Stephen Kranz, and Diann Smith represent three major oil companies in a dispute over the DC Office of Tax and Revenue’s use of Chainbridge software to make tax assessments without an audit. The companies have moved for summary judgment in the dispute and the judge set an October 5 deadline for the final reply briefs, saying it would be at least two weeks after that before he would rule on the companies’ motions for summary judgment.
